It looks like a bunch of discarded paper towels and you can see why.
A pair of Dickies’ work pants from Australia have been created from recycled paper and recycled fabric.
The company says the fabric used in the pants is a mix of cotton and polyester and the design is inspired by the way that fabric is stretched and re-used.
The materials used are recycled from fabric and used in a number of other products including kitchen accessories, kitchenware and toys.
Dickies says the pants are made with materials that are sustainable and made in a sustainable way.
We are committed to the environment and all the materials that go into our products, like the cotton we use in our fabrics, are made in the same way.
These pants are not only made in Australia but we are proud to be a part of the Australian fabric community.
The project was created in collaboration with Australian design company Paperworks, which also produces recycled and sustainable products.
They used recycled and eco-friendly materials and recycled cardboard for the first stage.
The first pair of the pants was created using recycled cardboard and recycled cotton fabric.
This second pair is made from recycled polyester.
Both fabrics are sourced from recycled materials and are made from a sustainable and sustainable manufacturing process.
The fabric is then cut into strips and sewn into the pants using recycled poly and recycled clay.
The process also means the denim is made with no preservatives.
Paperworks says it was difficult to find the right materials for the project.
“We wanted a fabric that would be a good balance between being eco-sustainable and being comfortable,” says CEO Nicky Smith.
“It was challenging to find a material that was both environmentally friendly and not only comfortable.”
Dickies is currently in the process of creating another pair of jeans.
The new jeans are now available to purchase online and Dickies have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the manufacturing of more.
